Kurt Sutter e a acção judicial contra o FX
Um ex-biker dos HELLS ANGELS de seu nome Chuck Zito interpôs uma acção judicial contra o canal norte-americano FX por alegadamente este canal de tv lhe ter roubado a ideia original da série Sons of Anarchy.
Kurt Sutter reagiu de imediato no seu blogue oficial Sutter Ink:

HAVING THE FUCKING IDEA IS NOT THE SHOW. THERE HAVE BEEN DOZENS OF OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE TV DRAMAS PITCHED IN THE LAST TEN YEARS. NONE OF THEM HAS MADE IT TO SERIES, EXCEPT SOA. BECAUSE THEY SUCKED.
The same way there were dozens of mob family pitches before the Sopranos and crime scene pitches before CSI.
.... I had a love of the subculture but was not an "outlaw biker". The same way Damon Lindelof was never marooned on a supernatural island. I did what a good writers does. Research.

O criador de Sons of Anarchy Kurt Sutter deu uma extensa entrevista ao site www.monstersandcritics.com, onde fala sobre a Temporada 3, os novos actores, a história, entre outros assuntos, revelando pormenores bastante interessantes sobre o que vamos poder ver já em Setembro.
A certa altura da entrevista há uma curiosa pergunta do M&C feita ao Kurt: "I’m from Boston and you’re from New Jersey. So we both grew up with ethnic Caucasian communities. Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and what not. I grew up in a very polarized neighborhood where people talked about the IRA like they were champions, yet when I speak to Irish people that come over here, they’re like, ‘You guys don’t know anything that’s going on.’ So it’s very interesting that there’s a heightened sense of Irishness, which is sort of bastardized in this country"...

Comic-Con 2010: SoA presente
De acordo com o The Watcher do Chicago Tribune, "Sons of Anarchy" vai ter direito a um painel na San Diego Comic-Con International de 2010, um evento que este ano vai contar com séries como "Castle", "Archer", "No Ordinary Family" e "White Collar" entre as novidades.Ainda não são conhecidos mais pormenores, mas contamos com os já habituais (e pontuais!) tweets de Kurt Sutter para vos dar mais novidades sobre esta importante convenção que, como tem sido habitual, vai ocorrer este Verão no San Diego Convetion Center (Califórnia), durante quatro dias.
